Congestion is a big problem in many different cities, it doesn't just waste your time, but also makes an impact on the world around you. Online shopping have been dominating the new shopping revolution, which as convenient as it is, actually does the complete opposite when it comes to the earth. The united states alone accounted for an annual 13 billion shipments in association with online shopping. With increasing deliveries the amount of CO2 emissions are increasing as well. To combat congestion throughout cities, there is a demand for a new urban logistic plan. Instead of having a system of large trucks delivering with full capacity, America is leaning towards a new direction; Robots. You heard me correctly, ROBOTS.

Five states so far have began looking into 'Starship technologies' to deliver these packages. Starship technologies is a company that specializes in robot deliveries to ensure more efficiency throughout all levels of the delivery process. Volvo and other automobile manufacturers are experimenting with in car delivery services where a single-use digital key provides access for deliveries in the trunk of a car. Amazon and Walmart are even asking permission to enter your home.
This might seem scary - straying from the norm, but it is the step in the right direction. To make this dream a reality, there needs to be more data accessible, in which more and more cities are participating in.
